Founder of the rewired.earth coalition, Rupert has built strong cross-sector relationships internationally. He previously scaled a tech company to FTSE 250 and led organisations delivering environmental and social change at scale.

David Marriage

David is the principal Co-founder of Rewired Earth. Formerly Global Disruption and Innovation Lead for Asset and Wealth Management at PwC, he helped organisations de-risk transformation and deliver early value.

With over 30 years in Financial Services, Gail has held Chief Risk & Compliance Officer roles at several high-street firms and has served as a Trustee for organisations aligned with her social values.

Eoin Walshe

Eóin is a Co-founder of Rewired Earth, specialising in storytelling, design thinking, ESG and impact datasets. He has led sustainability innovation programmes at PwC in London and New York.

Rebecca Lustenberger

Rebecca has over 20 years’ experience as a financial markets regulator across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, leading regulatory strategy, economic policy, and investor protection initiatives.

James Mitchell

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

James has worked across the Finance and Investment Industry for the last twenty five years. Most recently at The Phoenix Group where he led the Strategic Partnerships team, and prior to that at Barclays and Goldman Sachs. Over the first two decades of his career he built and ran the GS Transition Management business, helping the world's largest asset owners across Pensions, Insurance and Sovereign Wealth, to achieve risk mitigated portfolio change for their members and improve investment outcomes and pioneering portfolio execution in bond markets.

Joanne brings over 30 years of transformation leadership across asset management, wealth, and retail banking, delivering complex programmes spanning business, technology, and regulation.

Dr Alexander Schmidt

With a PhD in econometrics and a background in data science and AI, Alexander works at the intersection of technology and sustainability, providing data-driven strategic guidance across the climate ecosystem.

Seb is a communications and advertising leader with a background in purpose-led campaigns. He founded and led award-winning agencies including Freuds, Glue, and Gravity Road.

Dr Jessica Hadjis Van Thiel

Jessica is a researcher at the Science Policy Research Unit, University of Sussex, and Founding Partner of PATHFINDER. She has worked with governments, academia, the UNDP, the NHS, EU institutions, and NGOs worldwide.

Richard Boadu

TECHNOLOGY LEAD

Richard is an accomplished engineer with ten years of experience in the life sciences and financial sector. Currently at PwC Consulting, he builds software for Asset and Wealth Management clients and leads technical delivery for Rewired Earth.

David Cox

ADVISORY CONSULTANT

David led Sustainability for Microsoft’s Global Financial Services Division, working with financial institutions globally to develop sustainability strategies. He also has a strong background in innovation and digital transformation.

A recent graduate in International Political Economy, Yinabi applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills as a key member of the delivery team. Her work focuses on deep research, fund mapping, and report creation to support evidence-based impact.

Lord Iain McNicol of West Kilbride is a member of the House of Lords, trade unionist and Labour life peer who served as the General Secretary of the Labour Party from 2011 to 2018.

Tasha is the Cayman Islands Government representative to the UK. Lorraine Mackin

Currently studying an MSc in Sustainability and Business, Lorraine was Global Head of Government for KPMG and has held senior positions at EY and Capgemini consulting. Nick is Head of sustainability and social purpose for Barclays UK, Chair of the Conduit Club Holding Company and Trustee of the National Trust. Mark Glover

Executive Chairman of SEC Newgate UK, Mark helps boards solve complex strategic communications issues. He is an expert in advocacy and ethical lobbying with broad experience. Mark is the Senior Warden of the Company of Communicators and an Honorary Alderman of the London Borough of Southwark.

Heather Buchanon

Heather is CEO of The Athena Foundation and Co-Founder of Bankers For Net Zero, the UK Country Chapter of the Net Zero Banking Alliance under GFANZ. She is also the Director of Policy and Strategy for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Business Banking.

Pooran Desai

The creator of the One Living Planet concept, Pooran has set up enterprises in sustainable forestry, farming and recycling; and put together the first zero carbon village, BedZED. Kristian Rönn is the CEO and co-founder of Normative. He has a background in mathematics, philosophy, computer science and artificial intelligence. Kristian is a thought leader within carbon accounting and has advised governments and international bodies.

Renato is a Corporate coverage executive and Sustainable Banking lead in the UK for SEB. David Carlin oversees UNEP- Finance Initiative (UNEP FI)’s Risk Centre. He has worked with more than 100 financial institutions on topics of climate scenarios, climate risk assessments, and sustainability regulation.
